Leather shears
These look like normal fabric shears, only they're heavier and sharper. The ends of professional shears are usually squared off so that they don't accidentally poke through somewhere that they shouldn't. (No, that does not mean that you have an excuse for poking them into people that you don't like.) Good, sharp shears can cut through most leather up to 12 oz. (or about 3 /16ths of an inch thick) without too much trouble. As they become dull, the cut becomes less clean and tougher to do.
