[Scan of a set of right-handed snips]

Tin Snips

These snips are designed for cutting through thin sheets of metal. We've also found them useful for cutting sheets of ABS plastic. However, they are somewhat heavy and can be very tiring to use. You will need to practice with them to get good results.

Note that these snips can be right-handed or left-handed. Using the snips in the "wrong" hand can produce interesting results. For example, Spiky Mochi finds that he can cut tighter curves when using a pair of left-handed snips in his right hand.
