Foam Brushes

These spongy brushes can be used to apply all sorts of things: paint, bleach, finish, etc. They are usually very cheap, which makes them very useful for applying stains or heavily pigmented paint: you can throw out the stained brush when you are done. They are also ideal for applying things that would "mat" a bristle brush, like liquid latex. Their main drawback is that they aren't very durable. Expect to replace these brushes on a regular basis.
