Pliers

Think of these as nice, strong extensions of your own fingers. They can be used for working with wire, holding stuff that's too hot for you to hold in your fingers, or swapping the heads of your action figures. There are many different varieties of pliers that are suited for specific tasks.

In general, you want to be a little careful with these. Many pliers have little ridges in the "pincers" that help them grip. If you squeeze too hard with these, you may damage the surface of whatever you're squeezing.
