[Two tubes of one-part epoxies.]

Epoxy

Epoxy is basically plastic: it's a thick resin. Depending on the formula, it can be used to fuse stuff together, cast small items, or give something an air-tight protective coat.

Most of the epoxies that we've used come in two "flavors": one-part epoxy or two-part epoxy. One-part epoxies do not require any special mixing to use. Two-part epoxies come in two, separate tubes and need to be mixed before using. Commercial one-part epoxy brands include E-6000 and Goop.

Most one-part epoxies take about five minutes to set up and about twenty-four to forty-eight hours to cure. The bond is somewhat flexible.
