CA Glue
Cyanoacrylate (or CA) glue is a plastic monomer. It's commonly sold as "super" or "krazy" glue. It usually takes just a few seconds to set up (although it takes longer for the bond to cure). As the Artist's Complete Health and Saftey Guide points out: "Fast curing-time can cause unplanned adhesion of body parts."
CA glue can be found in three different "thicknesses": thin , medium , thick or gap-filling. Excess glue can be "cleaned up" with acetone. Use in a well-ventilated area and pay attention to headaches, etc. Some people have used this glue fine for years and then suddenly develop an allergy to it.
This glue is best when bonding non-porous things (well, anything except metal). The glue has a shelf life of about a year. If your glue is older than that, throw it out and buy a new bottle. The glue also degrades with heat. (This is why this glue is a NASA reject.)
