Someone once asked us why we cosplay. After all, you pour a lot of money, time, blood, and sweat into making a costume that you might wear for three or four days out of the year. For us, it boils down to three things:

1. We enjoy the work of creating costumes: when it's all done, it's like finishing a puzzle that you've been working on for a long time.
2. It gives us a great excuse to go visit each other several times a year!
3. We've met some really great people -- who are also nuts about cosplay.

While there are some geographical areas that seem to have a large number of cosplayers, most cosplayers don't see each other except at various conventions. We've decided to put a few scrapbook pages to commemorate the conventions that we've attended.
