The next morning, the following conversation occurred:

Sugar Bomb: [coming back into the hotel room after a quick trip downstairs] You know, I think I saw Kevin Lillard downstairs.
Daifuku: [surprised] Are you sure? I didn't think he went to the smaller conventions.
Sugar Bomb: Nope, I'm pretty sure that I saw him.
Daikfuku: Really?
Sugar Bomb: Really.
Spiky: Cool
Daikfuku: [gets out of bed] AAAAAAAH!
Toasted: What?
Daikfuku: AAAAH! I'm not in costume yet!

After some daytime investigation, it looked like this hotel was located in a more populated area. For example, within walking distance, there were serveral different places to eat -- including a Perkins down the street for late night noshing. [Most Perkins are open 24 hrs. - E.W.T.] Several other stores provided last-minute costuming materials and there was a movie theatre nearby (in case you needed a break from all the anime). The move to this hotel definitely left the convention room to expand: we get the impression that it's still cultivating its core group of attendees.

[You too can have a Pocket Godzilla!]The dealer's room seemed smaller than it was the year before, but there was still some nice loot to be found -- even if it wasn't all anime related. The definite hit was a Godzilla lighter: it throws sparks and you can light things in its "atomic breath".

Other loot included a Pokemon desk set, Gotham City police patches (suitable for sewing onto a jacket), and several import Gameboy games.
