Luu Bread

• From: Steam Detectives (TV + manga)
• Materials: Used tuxedo, white shirt and black tie, opera cape made of wool blend material, posterboard, silver material, black, purple and red silk, foam, elastic, white spandex.
• Design notes:Luu Bread is a combination of "modified" (where clothing pieces are bought and/or altered) and "created" (sewn from the ground up) pieces.
• Construction notes: It is difficult (not to mention expensive) to buy a top hat like Luu Bread's. The top hat for this costume was made from silk-covered posterboard and is an original design.
• Additional notes: Pieces from this costume were designed to be re-used. The silver buttons are not permenantly affixed to the tux and the red collar will come off the opera cape after a short session with a seam ripper. You can see through the silver cloth (lining the mask) in directed but not diffuse light. This makes it great for the stage but a poor suit for wandering the halls.
  Interestingly, Luu Bread's Cane of Evil (TM) is a replica of Prince Albert's tippling cane. It has a compass in it -- just in case Luu gets lost in Steam City.
