• Materials:Cotton (dress, cape), gold trim, a lot of interfacing (cape interiors), Friendly Plastic (broach and cape decorations), piety.
• Design notes: Altena has a skirt, a modified overdress, and a free designed cape and belt. Her design is pretty straighforward.
• Construction notes: The cape was the hardest part, as it was free designed and fitted. Lots of interfacing inside the cape meant crisp edges, which were necessary.
• Additional notes: It's important to make Altena's hair look a little unkempt--like she's just come in from picking grapes or ordering an assassination.
