Marron

• From: Sorceror Hunters (TV).
• Materials:cotton (robe), yellow bias edging (robe details), red obi, black sports pants, china flats.
• Design notes: The manga has a number of different outfits while the anime appears to just have one. However, in either case, it is difficult to determine if his robe is "split" on one side or both sides. Some pictures show it going one way while other pictures show it going another.
• Construction notes: The robe is made in two pieces: the inner "robe" (which is a collar-less shirt with the long sleeves) and an outer robe (which has a tall collar and detailing). The only difficult part of this costume was the neck and the front of the outer robe: some bias edging and small hooks produced a nice effect. Unfortunately, no one seems to have a long thin neck exactly like Marron's, which sort of diminishes the overall effect.
• Additional notes: After appearing in the maquerade at Anime Central, Marron really only shows up with of the rest of the Sorcerer Hunters. His stern, solemn personality makes him a considerable presence -- unless he is up-staged by his more flamboyant brother, Carrot.
