Chocolat

• From: Sorceror Hunters (TV, transformed version).
• Materials: Heavy satin (pants, hat), velour (top, gloves), chain (hat).
• Design notes: This is the third incarnation of this costume, with a fourth incarnation planned.
• Construction notes: Satin is terribly slippery which makes it harder to sew. The surface can show "scratches", so be careful when working with the material and choose your accessories carefully.
• Additional notes: This was the costume that spurred the purchase of a hot glue gun: the hot glue was used to help cover the hat in black satin. A trip to a hardware store at Anime Expo '98 spurred the purchase of some flexible caulking material, which was used to attach the gold chain on the edge of the hat brim.
