Kall-Su

• From: Bastard! (manga). One of the Four Generals. Also known as the Ice Prince.
• Materials:ABS .80 plastic (shoulder armor), cotton (cloak), polyester (blue sash), Sculpey (jewels on armor), dark blue jumper suit.
• Design notes: Kall Su has several outfits. This one was chosen because it matched the ice motif of his powers.
• Construction notes:Armor was made by forming it directly on the shoulders, with leftover plastic shards serving as spikes. The collar of the jumper suit was folded inwards to expose the chest. (Manly chest or not? You decide ....) The cloak is actually worn underneath the armor.
• Additional notes:The spikes were actually sharp and we were asked to trim them in case they proved dangerous. While not as bulky as the Haz Knight, the ability to walk sideways is needed for doorways, and to insure no con-goer's head gets lopped off. (Henry was quite pleased with the Danger Factor of this costume.) In future versions, will include ice falchion, Kall Su's ludicrous sword.
